Need of Salesforce integration

The Salesforce integration helps the support teams to view customer centric data visibility in BoldDesk.

View the Salesforce object inside BoldDesk

The ticket requestor information from Salesforce is displayed on the ticket details page when they are matched with an email address.  

You can also view the salesforce information on contact and contact group pages. 

On the ticket detail page, the following Salesforce objects are available: 

Role-based permissions for the Salesforce app

The administrator can control which users can see the Salesforce app on the ticket details page depending on their roles and responsibilities (role-based permissions).

For example, if you want your sales team to see this app, you can define specific roles for them.
